Yeah, Stone Temple Pilots and Live plus, special guests, Soul Asylum all at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, Arkansas on Saturday, August 24th 2024. If you're a fan of 90s music, you'll want to get tickets to this!
Both STP and LIVE will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their biggest ever hit albums.
So get hyped for the insane smash songs "Vasoline" and "Interstate Love Song" from Stone Temple Pilots' 1994 album, Purple.
And, keep that energy high all the way through LIVE's 1994 release of Throwing Copper with the massive tracks, "I Alone," "Lightning Crashes" and "All Over You."

Co-headliners Stone Temple Pilots and +LIVE+ kick off the summer Jubilee Tour 2024 with two shows in California featuring support from Our Lady Peace. Then things switch up as Soul Asylum replaces Our Lady Peace for the next seventeen dates of the tour, from Texas all the way through to Indianapolis in September. Not forgetting one night here in Rogers, Arkansas at the Walmart AMP on August 24th.
So, what made 1994 so great for these bands? Well honestly, this was peak MTV, you know, that short bit of time then the channel actually played music...
By January 1994, STP were voted the Best New Band by Rolling Stone's readers, and weirdly Worst New Band by the critics... how did they get the mood so wrong? In February, they took home both Favorite Pop/Rock New Artist and Heavy Metal/Hard Rock New Artist Awards at the AMA's... and snapped up the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for the song "Plush" in March!!!
The band, on an insane high, went back to the studio, and a month later, on June 7th, released their second album. Purple, naturally, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200, and sat there for 3 weeks straight. The singles off the album, "Interstate Love Song", "Vasoline" and "Big Empty" all came in the top 10 or topped various rock charts. Now, for fans of the album and tracks, you have got to get here to hear it live because its probably not going to happen again until these albums turn 50!!!
LIVE, on the other hand, played their third studio album, Throwing Copper, on the MTV 120 Minutes tour and then brought it out for Woodstock '94 which boosted it all the way up to the top of the Billboard 200 almost a year after its release. The album features the number 1 singles "Selling the Drama" and "Lightning Crashes" as well as the Top 10 charting "I Alone", and "All Over You". Throwing Copper is still the bands' biggest selling record with near on 10 million copies sold throughout America... as such I'm sure you already have an old CD lying about somewhere... now is the time to come hear this live, with LIVE!!!
