Kicking off this April, Australian electronic band known for their alt-dance anthems, RÜFÜS DU SOL, is heading to North America for a global run of headlining shows. In support of their new LP "Inhale/Exhale", Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and James Hunt are set to perform their big hits and new bangers live on stage. Initially consisting of 30 shows on the list, the EDM group has been adding new shows to meet overwhelming demand from fans. Now, they've got 47 shows across four continents on the list, making it their biggest tour yet.
On this special night at the Walmart AMP, Peruvian DJ and producer Sofia Kourtesis will be heading up the stage as their special guest.
Looking forward to awesome nights in North and South America, the band is stoked to see their fans beaming with energy as they all rave the night out. "The energy and passion we get from our fans in North and South America is incredible," Rufus Du Sol said in an official release. "The US was the first place to really embrace us outside our home country, and in the past few years we’ve seen that love grow throughout Mexico and South America... being able to play our music to crowds like this all over the Americas is something we’ll never take for granted. See you soon."
Since their formation in 2010, the band has been making rounds in the dance, deep house, electronica, and house scene. Soaring Hype Machine charts and making it to club dance floors, they started attracting a following for their sick beats. Later on, their debut album "Atlas" hit the top of the Australian charts in 2013, followed by their second LP "Bloom" at #1, and winning an ARIA Award for Best Dance Release in 2015. In 2022, they scored a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for "Alive". With sold-out stadium shows and a couple of festival appearances, fans can't get enough of their incredible energy.
With "Inhale/Exhale" fresh off the shelves, its tracks such as "Break My Love", "Music is Better", "Levitating", "The Life", "Pressure", and many have gotten fans hitting the dancefloor. Becoming a go-to name for festivals, these 15 tracks offer their signature euphoric beats and experimental bits. "We want to try new things and, you know, step out of our comfort zone so on this record we did that a lot," Lindqvist said.
Get ready to experience "Inhale/Exhale" in its full glory alongside their biggest hits as they kick off a new era, live on stage this 2025. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
