"Brad was a great producer to write alongside. This album is a look into my own struggle with anxiety, insecurity and also stories of my life," Rateliff shared in an official release. "He encouraged me to take responsibility for my own narrative in the songs and to write about what’s happening in my own life,"
Rateliff continues to share that the album holds a special place in his heart, "I hope these songs and stories give you an opportunity to better understand your own struggles whatever they may be," he added.
Amidst the dark, he found light, and he hopes that the stories in this album resonates with anyone dealing or going through tough days.
The artist rose to fame for his massive hit single "S.O.B.", marking his breakthrough with The Night Sweats. It was "an album Rateliff made as a last-ditch effort before throwing in the towel on his music career, only to see it go viral and turn into a runaway hit." Los Angeles Times shared. It charted in various charts and scored a Platinum certification from the RIAA. His debut album with The Night Sweats hit #17 on the Billboard 200. From then on, Rateliff was back in the game.
