The Heartbreak on the Map Summer Tour is named after one of the songs in Bigger Houses, the latest album of Dan + Shay,
The title track, "Save Me The Trouble," "Always Gonna Be," "Heaven + Back," "We Should Get Married," "Neon Cowgirl," and other standouts are included in the 12-track album. In September 2023, Bigger Houses debuted, not long after Smyers and Mooney disclosed that they were on the verge of quitting music due to severe burnout and going months without speaking to each other. As Mooney had previously stated, "the process of this album completely changed our lives." They came back stronger than before.
“I’m fired up,” added Mooney. “I can’t wait to play this song (Save Me The Trouble) on the Heartbreak on the Map Tour at the end of February. We are so excited. Thank you guys. I know we’ve said that, but we’re going to say it a million times. We are so grateful to be coming into this year with our tenth No. 1. It’s absolutely crazy. After being in a band for ten years, this is absolutely wild. Thank you for everything. We love you. We’ll see you on the Heartbreak On the Map Tour.”
On NBC's Emmy-winning series The Voice, Dan + Shay will make history as the first-ever coaching team. They will join Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper for season 25, which premieres in the spring of 2024. The two will be a valuable addition to their team due to their extensive resume of achievements, which includes being the first and only performer to win the GRAMMY Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance three times in a row since the category's founding (2021 for "10,000 Hours," 2020 for "Speechless," and 2019 for "Tequila"). At the American Music Awards (2022), Dan + Shay won Favorite Country Duo or Group for the third time in a row. They started their run in 2020 by winning all of their categories and became the first country music artist to win Collaboration of the Year. Furthermore, at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, the three-time ACM Awards Duo of the Year and two-time CMA Awards Duo of the Year winners were awarded Top Country Duo/Group.
